Quebec-born, Toronto-based
bassist Marc Rogers is active in a wide variety of musical styles and projects.
Known for both his electric and acoustic bass playing, he has performed and/or
recorded with a diverse group of artists including Norah Jones, Philosopher
Kings, Susan Tedeschi, Joe Lovano, Mike Stern, Kenny Wheeler, Lewis Nash,
Terri-Lynn Carrington, Kelly Jefferson, K'naan, Rahzel, Bowfire, Karen
Kosowski, and Holly Cole. He has recorded and written music for film and TV
including Zoe Busiek: Wild Card, The L Word, Lie With Me, and Saint Ralph, and
currently maintains a busy touring and recording schedule. Marc is a regular
contributor to a bass column in Canadian Musician magazine.
