YSP1000 makes it quick and easy to get started. IntelliBeam technology does all the work for you. Simply plug-in the included microphone to automatically calibrate the system to suit the unique characteristics of your room. Three minutes is all you’ll need.

Night Listening Mode works to adjust dynamic range during low volume listening, so dialogue and quiet passages are heard clearly. Cinema and Music modes are available. YSP1000 also offers a TV Equal Volume mode prevents sudden bursts of loud sound when watching TV.

The exclusive CINEMA DSP technology used in Yamaha high-end home theatre amps and receivers creates realistic surround sound fields in the room. The YSP1000 offers seven CINEMA DSP programs.

YSP1000 is compatible with the Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby Pro Logic II and DTS Neo:6 sound formats

YSP1000 offers 2 component, and 3 composite video inputs as well as 1 component and 1 composite video out.

Sound Modes

YSP Digital Sound Projectors take advantage of your walls to create true multi-channel surround sound. Through its exclusive use of sound beams, this compact system can be used in rooms of various size and shape to create five beam, stereo, three beam, three beam plus stereo, and targeted sound.
	FIVE BEAM MODE All five channels - Left, Right, Centre, Left-surround and R-surround - are given separate orientations. Sound is beamed off the walls to create the effect of a surround system with rear speakers.
	STEREO MODE The left and right woofers, with the multiple beam speakers acting as tweeters, reproduce the effect of conventional stereo speakers.
	THREE BEAM MODE Three beams are produced: Left and Left-surround, Right and Right-surround and Centre. A surround sound effect is created by reflecting the sound off the walls.
	THREE BEAM + STEREO MODE The Left and Right channels are produced using stereo mode while Centre, Left-surround and Right-surround are produced using beaming. This mode is effective when the YSP-1 placed in a corner.
	TARGET MODE One beam is produced: Sound is projected to a distinct location away from the typical listening area.
