Welcome to the latest introduction from Yamaha, the Receiver Control App for iPhone™ and iPod® touch.

This Receiver Control App will turn your iPhone™ or iPod® touch into a Wi-Fi enabled remote control for select Yamaha network multi-zone A/V receivers while providing you instant access to music and other content you want to enjoy in each of the connected rooms.

With this application you will have basic control over Yamaha Network A/V receiver functions.

The specific network receiver you own will determine how many areas of your home you can access. This iPhone™ App provides you the flexibility to control the available inputs, volume, mute and power commands by zone.

It’s great to have all this control -- and best of all it’s FREE!

Features (by zone)

Control Power on/off – Allows you to control the power in each connected zone
Volume up/down – Use the slider to adjust to volume to the desired setting
Input Selection – Use the input selector to select the device you want to enjoy in each zone
Mute – Pressing the speaker icon will mute that zone
Max Volume – Control the maximum volume level for that zone
Display – Allows you to show the Zones that you want to display on the Main Control page

Compatibility

The Yamaha Receiver Control App requires select Yamaha network A/V receivers connected to a local area network with Wi-Fi connection.

RXV2065 7.2-channel Home Theate Network Receiver
RXV3900 High Performance Home Theate Network Receiver
RXZ7 Flagship Home Theate Network Receiver
DSPZ7 Flagship Home Theate Network Receiver

Make sure to update your Yamaha Network A/V Receiver with the latest firmware prior to using this App.

The Yamaha Receiver Control App for the iPhone™ and iPod® touch is available for US and Canada only.
